Ivan Varat, Managing Director of San Patrik Real Estate, took part in two prestigious global events in Singapore: the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Asia Pacific Forum and the JLL Global Property Expo 2025.
Accompanied by his son Patrik, Ivan represented Croatia as a destination, participated in a series of educational sessions, and connected with professionals from renowned agencies around the world that are part of the LeadingRE network.
Panel at JLL Global Property Expo 2025
The JLL Global Property Expo 2025 brought together professionals and exhibitors from across the world, including British Land, DAMAC, EMAAR, HSBC, and JLL. Ivan joined the panel discussion “What to Look for in an Agent When Buying Abroad.”
The panel also featured Travis Coleman of Belle Property (Australia), João Reis of JLL Portugal, and was moderated by Robin Lasure of LeadingRE.
The discussion focused on what matters most to international buyers when choosing a real estate agent. Trust, clear communication, deep market knowledge, and genuine human connection were central themes.

LeadingRE Asia Pacific Forum
Ivan also participated in the Asia Pacific Forum hosted by LeadingRE, which brought together real estate professionals from 18 countries.
Key themes included market developments across the Asia-Pacific region, evolving client habits, digital tools and remote work, and the importance of shared knowledge and strong partnerships among member firms.
