Boutique real estate agency San Patrik proudly announces that Ivan Varat, CEO of the company, participated in the Global Symposium of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, which brought together top real estate professionals from 29 countries. The prestigious event, held in Budapest from September 24 to 26, provided an opportunity for experts from around the world to exchange insights, strengthen relationships and discuss key trends shaping the future of the real estate market.

Participants included members and guests of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), an invitation only network connecting premium real estate firms across more than 70 countries.

“Three days in Budapest were truly exceptional, filled with meaningful connections, knowledge exchange and new business opportunities. I had productive meetings and conversations with colleagues focused on assisting Swiss and German clients in finding their ideal properties throughout Croatia. This is what we do. We solve real estate needs with a global approach. Real estate is not only a local market, it is about global connectivity,” said Varat.

The diverse program addressed key topics shaping the industry, including global economic outlooks, adapting to market shifts and leveraging international networks to expand client services and business growth.

Among the keynote speakers was LeadingRE Chief Economist Dr. Marci Rossell, who delivered an in depth analysis of macroeconomic trends influencing the market and provided participants with tools to anticipate change and make informed decisions. LeadingRE Director of Education Mike Staver, an internationally recognized speaker, author and coach, shared insights on demonstrating value in a shifting market. Whitney LaCosta of Howard Hanna | Coach Realtors, Chair of the LeadingRE Board, offered perspectives on leadership and organizational excellence.

Additional speakers included real estate experts from around the world who presented market insights and selected business strategies. Developers from the Destinations by LeadingRE program, including Elounda Hills in Crete, The Lakes BY YOO in Lechlade, Porto Montenegro in Tivat and Soneva Villa Ownership in the Maldives, discussed trends driving new development projects and the importance of balancing sustainability and luxury. A PropTech panel featuring Cloze, Property Webmasters and Redpin explored innovations transforming the real estate sector. Specialized pre conference workshops were also held on commercial real estate and the luxury market.

Beyond education and networking opportunities, participants celebrated member achievements at the awards ceremony and explored the host city through curated tours and a memorable closing event, concluding a week of learning, growth and collaboration.

According to Chris Dietz, President of Global Operations at LeadingRE: “By offering timely educational sessions with expert speakers, rich cultural experiences and meaningful networking opportunities, the Global Symposium enabled members from around the world to share insights into key market drivers while gaining a deeper understanding of cross cultural business dynamics. We had the opportunity to experience the charm of Budapest while strengthening the relationships that define the LeadingRE community.”

As Croatia’s representative within LeadingRE, San Patrik remains committed to implementing the knowledge and insights gained at the symposium, further elevating service standards, expanding global collaboration and maintaining a leadership position in an ever evolving real estate market.
